About Our
Naturopathic Doctor:
Pam’s practice offers thoughtful, preventive naturopathic care rooted in listening, education, and
partnership. Appointments are intentionally longer, creating space for your full health story to be
heard and for care plans to be built collaboratively, at a pace that feels supportive and
empowering. You can expect Pam to be encouraging, thorough, and affirming.
Naturopathic care with Pam focuses on preventing and treating illnesses from a lens of
whole-person health, using lifestyle medicine, herbal medicine, counseling, targeted nutrients,
and practical education that fits real life. She will help you get to the bottom of your symptoms
and will help you explore treatment options - both pharmaceutical and alternatives - for any
diagnoses you may have. She will encourage you to advocate for yourself and will nudge you to
take a proactive approach to your wellness, believing deeply that all bodies can be vital and
heal if we create the conditions for healing.
Patients of all ages are welcome—from pediatrics through menopause— though Pam’s practice
has a particular focus on women’s health across life stages, including puberty, menstrual health,
fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
As an integrative practice that values teamwork, open communication and collaboration with
other healthcare providers is an important part of your care. Pam will communicate with the rest
of your healthcare team so that your care is coordinated, respectful, and aligned.
Pam’s practice is heavily influenced by her past experience providing midwifery and gender
affirming care, along with “Health at Every Size” and harm reduction principles. She tries to
meet everyone where they are at, and wants her practice to be as safe and welcoming as
possible.

Follow-up Visit (60 minutes) $115 +GST
In our first visit I will be collecting a lot of information about your health history, health goals, and any barriers to your wellness.
This visit is all about hearing your story and getting a big picture so that we can come up with a plan to address you as a person, rather than any individual ailments you experience.
During this visit I will give you a couple of basic recommendations related to nutrition, lifestyle and/or laboratory investigations.
Then I will go home and research any conditions or treatments I think might be of value for you to come up with a plan.
Pelvic Floor Care

Pelvic Floor Treatment (60 minutes) $115 +GST
You’re looking for routine postpartum pelvic care (starting after 6 weeks postpartum) or you have a pelvic concern that you’ve been putting up with, ignoring, or believing is a "normal part of having a baby". If this is resonating with you, I want you to know that it is not normal to have prolonged pelvic or low back pain, to leak or dribble urine, or have a feeling of heaviness in the pelvis following pregnancy. These issues can usually be addressed with pelvic floor care, and if left untreated, they can worsen and lead to organ prolapse and urinary incontinence in the future. I can help! You should be able to sneeze without peeing. You should be able to sit, stand, exercise, sleep and have sex without pain. And you should be able to feel comfortable and confident in your amazing postpartum body.
What is routine postpartum pelvic care?
Basically anyone who carries a pregnancy past 20 weeks gestation experiences changes to their pelvic floor as the hormones of pregnancy and changes to the pelvic organs put greater stress on the structures holding everything up (the pelvic floor). Pelvic floor care is a vital part of postpartum recovery, even if you are not having symptoms, because addressing symptoms before they arise is THE BEST way to maintain pelvic health!
If you are a person experiencing pelvic symptoms or a person wanting to focus on preventative pelvic treatment, this is the visit for you.
